Facade Stud

EOS Facade Stud & Track

Terminology:

Studs are formed from C sections and the track is formed from a U section. The track is also used to form the heads and the cills for apertures.

Double studs are typically 2No C sections fixed to one another with a series of C sections at 600mm c/c. These C sections are swaged on each end and the corresponding stud has a lip cut to accept the swaged member to create a connection. This connection is then screwed at specific dimple locations to create a solid double stud, again to the required dimensions.

Compound beams are a series or studs screwed together to form a post 2 C sections are screwed back to back to create an I section and then these are encapsulated by a C section each side and mechanically fixed through the flanges to create a square post.

Application:

The EOS Facade stud + Track is supplied to required lengths to site as taken by the client and issued to EOS. The EOS Facade stud + Track is typically applied to a primary framework of either hot rolled steel or reinforced concrete to form the substructure

In addition-

The double studs are used around door and windows to form the jambs. Again these are manufactured to required size and are fully assembled.

150 fully swaged lengths are used to suit application to form the connections for the heads and the cills of openings.

Compound beams are used as wind post typically.
