Hexham Hospital

Hexham Hospital thumbPhase 3 of Hexham hospital is one of a number of scale healthcare projects supported by the EOS team. The important project involves construction of a 7,800 square metre extension of the existing hospital. The new extension provides a range of critical additional facilities.

The versatility of the EOS facade system enabled the Hospital facade to be finished to a high quality, and as specified by the Architect, Jonathan Bailey Associates, while dramatically reducing completion time, saving the developer resources and money.

Provision of preassembled double studs for use around doors and windows to form the jambs also helped to speed up the process of installation.

Drawings were supplied by our in house design office. These drawings indicated all of the component parts and construction centres that were required, along with window positions, to reflect the client's design and facilitate easy assembly.

All sections and profiles are manufactured from steel HD Z39 Galv Coil to BS EN 10140 S390N/mm2 Proof Steel, G275gsm - Normal as Coated Chemical Passivation.

Harltepool Hospital

Hartlepool Hospital thumbThis project forms part of the NHS LIFT programme, driven by government to improve health service provision across the UK. The construction of a new hospital forms part of the investment programme in Hartlepool to improve and modernise primary care services in the area.

Both staff and patients will benefit from new and improved physical environments. The construction of buildings fit to take Hartlepool PCT into the 21st century has involved a rigorous design and procurement process. EOS is working as a collaborative partner to supply facade stud and track systems for the new hospital.

“We were particularly pleased with the incredible speed with which EOS delivered to site. We know that they work to a very high standard, and can be relied upon for consistent quality and precision. Modern construction methods were critical to the design of the new hospital, and the benefits of EOS’ steel frame were of great value to the project.”
