Building Schools for the Future (BSF)

To date, EOS have supplied their façade stud and track system to the Samuel Rhodes, Highbury and Holloway schools with additional projects to be completed shortly. With space restrictions on-site and unique shapes within architectural designs, the façade stud and track built on-site provided the most flexible options.

The Islington schools project

Islington School ThumbnailEOS systems form an important part of Islington Council’s £140 million project to transform the borough’s schools into cutting edge facilities. Up to 7 schools are due to be reformed in the area and EOS will continue to be instrumental in structural design and supply for the construction phases.

Working with Balfour Beatty, light gauge steel frame solutions have already been delivered to two of the Islington schools, Highbury Grove and Holloway with further projects underway.

Building Schools for the Future (BSF) is a programme with enormous scope and a vision to transform education nationwide. Heavy involvement in BSF projects is an important part of our project portfolio and we are well positioned to help bring ambitious ideas to fruition.

Contemporary spaces for modern learning

With enormous investment being made in the future of Islington’s schools, innovation in design and the clever use of modern methods has been a key element in projects across the borough. For EOS, this meant being able to offer a level of versatility and flexibility that would enable objectives to met.
